This London pottery class is perfect for friends or family to share the love this Valentine’s Day. This pottery workshop also makes a thoughtful Valentine's Day gift experience. Treat your loved one to a creative clay date, crafting beautiful, bespoke pots together. Sip on a complimentary glass of Prosecco as you work, or BYOB for your favorite drinks to enjoy while creating. What to Expect: In this two-hour session, you'll explore handbuilding techniques like coiling, slabbing, and pinch potting to create beautiful, organic forms. Perfect for beginners or those looking to rediscover their love for pottery, this workshop offers a relaxing and creative experience. What’s Included: - All materials, tools, and aprons - A welcome glass of Prosecco and strawberries - BYOB option for additional drinks and snacks At the end of the session, you'll have the option to fire and glaze your pieces for an additional £5. Finished creations will be ready for collection 4 weeks after the class. Important Notes: - The ticket price is for one person. Please book two tickets if attending with a partner. - Wear old clothes and keep nails trimmed, as pottery can get messy! - Due to the nature of clay, outcomes may vary, including shrinkage, glaze differences, or potential cracks. While we do our best to prevent issues, some imperfections are unavoidable. Refunds are offered only in the rare case of work exploding during firing. Reminders: - Clay, aprons and tools will be provided during the class. - Fingernails should be kept short for health and safety reasons. - Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a bit of clay on. - Please do not wear any accessories or leave them around the studio if possible. - Please come 10 minutes prior to the start of the class, as this will allow you to sign in and get ready for class demonstration. - It is your responsibility to arrive on time for the class. Upon arriving to your class 30 minutes or later, we have the right to reject you joining the class without any refund or rescheduling. -Please check your confirmation to ensure you arrive at the correct studio to the correct class. For Taster Classes: - Please be aware a materials fee of £5 per piece additional will be required if pots to be kept. Please prepare cash or bank info for a transfer on the day to keep pieces. - Pieces will ready around 4 weeks after the class, and we will send a collection email by then. Please double check if the email is in the spam folder. - Please pick them up within collection period as they will be kept in storage for up to one month. If not collected in time they may be disposed of. Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made in writing by email or text. You may cancel your course within 7 days of purchase with a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days of the class, course, or workshop will not be refunded. If your class, course, or workshop starts sooner than that, please get in touch as soon as possible (nam@cernamic.com). Exchanges can be made within 7 days at our discretion. Of course, there are emergencies and unforeseen circumstances that will impact your attendance so our team will work with you to negotiate or rearrange the date.
